Frequently Asked Questions
- Q - My computer is running slow, what can I do to speed it up?
- Have you shut down or rebooted your computer lately? (Constantly putting your computer in to sleep mode instead of a full shutdown will eventually cause your computer to slow down and even become prone to errors and corrupt data)
- Check to see what programs are running when your computer boots up (In olders versions of Windows, you can run the Microsoft System Configuration utility by opening a "Run dialogue box" (Win + R) and type in "msconfig" without the quotes, then navigate to the "Startup" tab and de-select any unecessary applications. In newer versions of Windows, the start-up applications list is in the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), then go to "More details", then the "Startup" tab)
- Q -
I'm still working on it...
